Why Vero 4.2
Extra-wide, extra-tall coverage.
A 4.2MP square sensor and up to 98.7° × 98.7° field of view expand your usable capture area in every direction, so tall subjects and overhead movement stay in view., so your team can use more of the space freely, without worrying about data near the corners and edges.
Flexible FoV, without swapping hardware.
One varifocal lens adjusts from 98.7° to 43°. Go wide for full-volume coverage or tight for detail, with no lens kits to buy.
Trusted Vicon accuracy.
Vero 4.2 sends full grayscale data to your PC, where Vicon’s advanced algorithms separate overlapping markers. You get fewer gaps, less cleanup and sub-millimeter accuracy.

FAQs
Is Vero 4.2 right for me?
If you capture a volume up to 10 × 10 m and lose data near the edges, corners, floor or ceiling, Vero 4.2 is built for you. Tell us about your space and a specialist will help you plan the setup.
Can I add Vero 4.2 to my existing Vicon system?
Yes. Vero 4.2 has the same Vero form factor and works with your existing Vicon cabling, switches and software, so it runs alongside the cameras you already have.
How is Vero 4.2 different from other 4MP motion cameras?
Most mid-range 4MP cameras share the same sensor, so their spec sheets look alike. The differences are in what each camera does with the sensor. Vero 4.2 pairs it with an extra-wide, extra-tall field of view of up to 98.7° × 98.7° and a varifocal lens you can set for your space. It also sends full grayscale data to your PC, where Vicon processing separates overlapping markers for fewer gaps and less cleanup.
