THE CHALLENGE
It is difficult to analyze biomechanics over time across different types of climbers, limiting comparative data as a resource. Training has been based on 2D video analysis for athletes to watch their movements.
THE SOLUTION
Using Vicon motion capture and portable IMUs, Derby can get detailed kinematics about climbers' performance trends between different levels of athletes.
